This is an original art poster promoting a posthumous exhibition of paintings and gouaches ("Bilder und Gouachen") by the Swiss modernist artist Karl Ballmer (1891-1958). Held at the Galerie Palette in Zürich from May 10 to June 6, 1968, the poster features a compelling, highly textured illustration depicting two stylized figures composed of layered lines set against a warm, earthy landscape.
The poster is in used condition with yellowing along the borders.
