This is an original art poster featuring an artwort of Ferdinand Hodler (March 14, 1853 - May 19, 1918). He was one of the best-known Swiss painters of the nineteenth century. His early works were portraits, landscapes, and genre paintings in a realistic style.
The poster has been printed 1970 for an exhibition in Switzerland. The poster is in fair/used condition with several flaws as some small tears (see photos).
The same poster in very good condition is currently listed in my shop too.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
