This is an original art poster featuring an artwort of Ferdinand Hodler (March 14, 1853 - May 19, 1918). He was one of the best-known Swiss painters of the nineteenth century. His early works were portraits, landscapes, and genre paintings in a realistic style.
The poster has been printed 1970 for an exhibition in Switzerland. The poster is, given the age of 50 years in very good condition.
