This is a beautiful art exhibition poster for Bert Andreae at the C. Ratie Gallery in Paris from March 5th to 27th, 1981. The artwork on the poster is a detailed black and white drawing with surrealist and symbolist elements. It shows a mysterious scene with a naked person and architectural details reminiscent of fantasy or dream worlds.
Bert Andreae was born in Emmen in 1952 and trained at the Minerva Academy in Groningen (1969-'74). Since then he has worked as a draftsman and also produces paper reliefs and small sculptures.
It's in a mid condition. It has a few rolling marks, several knitters along the borders, folds at the left upper and under corner and a light fold at the upper right corner.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
