This is an original art poster for the exhibition "Att flyga i förbund med natten" (Fly In League With The Night) by the acclaimed British painter and writer Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. Held at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm from July 3 to September 19, 2021, the poster features one of her signature, atmospheric oil portraits depicting a contemplative figure rendered in a rich, painterly style against a warm, yellow background.
Lynette Yiadom-Boakye (born 1977) is a British painter and writer of Ghanaian descent. She is best known for her striking portraits of fictional Black figures, created from her imagination rather than real-life models. Her art style combines realism with loose, expressive brushwork, using rich colors and subtle storytelling to explore identity, presence, and human emotion.
