This is an original art exhibition poster showing a stylized geometric portrait of a woman by artist Xaba. It was published for an exhibition at the Gemini II Gallery.
What's special about this piece is, that it's a screen-printing, meaning each layer of color was individually printed with a template.
Xaba is a South African artist known for expressive paintings and printmaking. His work often explores everyday life, social inequality and political issues, using strong contrasts, symbolic imagery and expressive, sometimes abstract forms.
The poster is in good condition.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
