Kannon has been one of the most popular deities in the Buddhist pantheon since her arrival in Japan in the late sixth century. The name Kannon is a short form of Kanzeon 觀世音 and is composed of the characters kan 觀 for "to look at, look at, take a look at something", or "view, view" and on 音 "sound, sound, sound".
The poster is in good condition with one small tear (1cm) at the bottom border.
