This is a beautiful poster featuring a work by Louis Koller showing a cartography of lucerne and its great mountains. It was made in 1965, Switzerland.
The poster is in a used condition with ripped off upper corners as well as some folds at the bottom right corner. There are also some rolling marks.
Louis Koller is a swiss artist who attended the district school in Lenzburg. He then completed an apprenticeship as a graphic designer at Trüb & Co. in Aarau, where Otto Ernst was his teacher. After an extended period of study in Paris, he returned to Aarau and found a job as a graphic artist with his teacher.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
