This is an original silkscreen-lithography art poster featuring a sketching of a face in black and advertising the "Lapeyrière peintures"-exhibition at the Galeries Raymond Duncan in Paris in 1961.
The poster is in used condition with yellowing, signs of handling along the borders and knitters at the borders.
The exact artist is unknown to me. However, Jean-Joseph-Pierre-Augustin Lapeyrière, known as Augustin Lapeyrière (then de Lapeyrière), born August 28, 1779 in Cahors and died November 24, 1831 in Gaillac, was a French financier and art collector.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
