This is an original art poster by Matisse that was released in 1999 for an exhibition in San Pietroburgo, Italy. The painting "Jeu de boules" was painted in 1908. Henri Émile Benoît Matisse (31 December 1869 - 3 November 1954) was a French artist, known for both his use of color and his fluid and original draughtsmanship. He was a draughtsman, printmaker, and sculptor, but is known primarily as a painter.
The poster is in used condition with some knitters and folds of former folding. It is printed on semi-glossy paper.
