This is an original art photo poster with an artwork by the Hofmeister Brothers. The poster has been produced by the Kunstsammlungen Cottbus in 1993.
The poster is in good condition. There is a sharp cut in the poster border at the right side (see photos).
The brothers Theodor Eduard Ferdinand Hofmeister (1868 - 1943) and Oskar Ludwig Robert Hofmeister (1871 - 1937) were amateur photographers who are considered the founders of the pictorialist "Hamburg School of Art Photography." They worked primarily with the rubber printing process and strong enlargements of the photo negative to artistically realize landscape, figure, and portrait images.
The poster is unframed and will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube. The price includes registered/tracked and fully insured shipping with national post.
