This original vintage travel poster for the Principality of Liechtenstein showcases the historic Vaduz Castle set against a dramatic Alpine backdrop. Designed and photographed by Baron Edward von Falz-Fein for the Quick Tourist-Office in Vaduz, the image features iconic Edelweiss and blue Gentian flowers in the foreground.

Baron Edward von Falz-Fein (1912-2018) was a Russian-born art patron and collector who grew up in exile in Liechtenstein after the Russian Revolution. He dedicated his life to preserving Russian cultural heritage abroad.

He was known for mediating between Russian and Western institutions and helping recover and return important artworks. His importance lies in cultural patronage rather than an individual artistic style.

The poster is in a used condition with light general yellowing and signs of handling. It is laid to a wooden board and will ship flat.
