This is a beautiful art exhibition poster showing a harbor containing various boats and colourful houses, wich was typical for amiets style. It was showcased in the Galerie Claude Hemery in Paris.
The painter, Cuno Amiet (28 March 1868 - 6 July 1961) was a Swiss painter, illustrator, graphic artist and sculptor.As the first Swiss painter to give precedence to colour in composition, he was a pioneer of modern art in Switzerland.
It's in a good condition. It only has some rolling marks, several knitters at the right border and a small blue stain (line).
