This is a beautiful art ehibition poster features pedestrians walking among tall city buildings that are heavily decorated with large, tricolor flags rendered in bold, textured brushstrokes.
Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) was a French artist associated with Fauvism, known for his bright colors and lively, decorative style. His paintings often show scenes of leisure, such as beaches, regattas, and concerts. Dufy used loose lines and vibrant colors to create a light, joyful atmosphere rather than realistic detail. His work focuses on capturing the feeling and energy of a moment rather than precise representation.
The Poster is in used condition with minimal signs of handling along the borders.
